Swim Meet 101
Swim meets are swum on Tuesday evenings. The meet typically lasts 2-3 hours. Each swimmer will swim 4 events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly). There are also two relays, one at the beginning of the meet (medley relay) and one at the end of the meet (freestyle relay).
Meets would not be possible without volunteers. If your swimmer is swimming in the meet, please sign up to volunteer.
Swimmers need to have their assigned number on their arm in Sharpie before the start of every meet. They need their team suit, goggles, and a swim cap is strongly encouraged for swimmers with long hair.
